{"id":7374,"date":"2020-10-31T22:31:22","date_gmt":"2020-11-01T02:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stclement-ottawa.org\/?p=7374"},"modified":"2026-03-14T20:22:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T00:22:03","slug":"plenary-indlugence-for-the-poor-souls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stclement-ottawa.org\/fr\/plenary-indlugence-for-the-poor-souls\/","title":{"rendered":"37 Indulgence pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re pour les \u00e2mes pauvres"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"titolo\">\n<div class=\"bulltitledate titolo translation-block\">2020\n\nD\u00c9CRET\n\nCette ann\u00e9e, dans les circonstances actuelles dues \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie \"Covid-19\", les indulgences pl\u00e9ni\u00e8res pour les fid\u00e8les d\u00e9funts seront prolong\u00e9es pendant tout le mois de novembre, avec adaptation des oeuvres et des conditions pour garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des fid\u00e8les<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"notizia\">\n<div class=\"notizie bullnews\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><p><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><\/p><\/p>\n<p>Sess<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, les malades et tous ceux qui, pour des raisons graves, ne peuvent pas quitter leur domicile, par exemple en raison de restrictions impos\u00e9es par l'autorit\u00e9 comp\u00e9tente en cette p\u00e9riode de pand\u00e9mie, afin d'\u00e9viter que de nombreux fid\u00e8les ne s'entassent dans les lieux saints, pourront obtenir l'Indulgence pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re \u00e0 condition de s'unir spirituellement \u00e0 tous les autres fid\u00e8les, compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9tach\u00e9s du p\u00e9ch\u00e9 et dans l'intention de se conformer le plus t\u00f4t possible aux trois conditions habituelles (confession sacramentelle, communion eucharistique et pri\u00e8re pour les intentions du Saint-P\u00e8re), devant une image de J\u00e9sus ou de la Sainte Vierge Marie, r\u00e9citer des pri\u00e8res pieuses pour les d\u00e9funts, par exemple, les Laudes et les V\u00eapres de l'Office des morts, le Rosaire marial, le chapelet de la Mis\u00e9ricorde divine, d'autres pri\u00e8res pour les d\u00e9funts les plus chers aux fid\u00e8les, ou s'occuper de la lecture r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie d'un des passages de l'Evangile propos\u00e9s par la liturgie du d\u00e9funt, ou encore accomplir une \u0153uvre de mis\u00e9ricorde en offrant \u00e0 Dieu les peines et les \u00e9preuves de leur propre vie<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">b- the Plenary Indulgence of 2 November, established on the occasion of the Commemoration of all the deceased faithful for those who piously visit a church or oratory and recite the \u201cOur Father\u201d and the \u201cCreed\u201d there, may be transferred not only to the Sunday before or after or on the day of the Solemnity of All Saints, but also to another day of the month of November, freely chosen by the individual faithful.<\/p>\n<p>The elderly, the sick and all those who for serious reasons cannot leave their homes, for example because of restrictions imposed by the competent authority in this time of the pandemic, in order to prevent numerous faithful from crowding into the holy places, will be able to obtain the Plenary Indulgence as long as they join spiritually with all the other faithful, completely detached from sin and with the intention of complying as soon as possible with the three usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and prayer according to the Holy Father&#8217;s intentions), before an image of Jesus or the Blessed Virgin Mary, recite pious prayers for the deceased, for example, Lauds and Vespers of the Office of the Dead, the Marian Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, other prayers for the deceased dearest to the faithful, or occupy themselves in considered reading of one of the Gospel passages proposed by the liturgy of the deceased, or perform a work of mercy by offering to God the sorrows and hardships of their own lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Enfin, comme les \u00e2mes du Purgatoire sont assist\u00e9es par les pri\u00e8res des fid\u00e8les et surtout par le sacrifice de l'autel \u00e0 Dieu (cf<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Sess<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sent d\u00e9cret est valable pendant tout le mois de novembre, nonobstant toute disposition contraire <i>De Purgatorio<\/i>), all priests are strongly invited to celebrate Holy Mass three times on the day of the Commemoration of all the deceased faithful, in accordance with the Apostolic Constitution &#8220;<i>Incruentum Altaris<\/i>&#8220;, issued by Pope Benedict XV, of venerable memory, on 10 August 1915.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><p>This Decree is valid throughout the entire month of November, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary.<\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><p>Given in Rome, from the seat of the Apostolic Penitentiary, on 22 October 2020, memorial of Saint John Paul II.<\/p><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><p>Maurus Card.
